2008 is the year of the frog and this year AArk will lead zoos, botanical gardens and aquariums in a globally coordinated public awareness campaign "The Year of the Frog."
The main goal of this campaign is to generate public awareness and understanding of the amphibian extinction crisis which represents the greatest species conservation challenge in the history of humanity.
My love and passion for these creatures has lead to a series of linocuts and as it's now the year of the frog, in 2008, I pledge to donate 10% of the total of all linocuts in the frog series to the AArk charity (see the Aark website for further info on how you can donate). |

Artist/Printmaker Ann Lewis' work proves that although considered by many as one of the simplest forms of printmaking, linocutting should never underestimated as a challenging and exciting medium capable of producing a wide variety of results. Her paintings and drawings are almost without exception inspired by the North Wales landscape.
Ann's work can currently be seen at Tegfryn Gallery, Menai Bridge, Anglesey and at The Royal Cambrian Academy (print portfolio), Conwy, North Wales
