Y canol distaw, llonydd (The silent, still centre) - The main challenge with this print was expressing so many contrasting textures and shapes (snow covered rocks, still water, moving water, shrubby trees) without creating a confusing visual mess and, at the same time contradicting the title of the print.

I think I achieved a partial success, colour-wise I'm very happy with the results of using an almost monochrome palette but was I working at too small a scale to be able to define the trees in a convincing way? - possibly. It's certainly a subject matter I'll try again.
