Clogwyn, Penrhyn LLyn (Cliff, Lleyn
Peninsula) - Moving slightly further afield from my usual
river locations, an afternoon last summer was spent drawing with
a friend on the Llyn Peninsular.
This linocut was developed from an ink drawing of a
distant view from Trefor harbour looking back towards the low cliffs
near Llanllyfni with the lower westerly slopes of Snowdonia as
a backdrop. The light falling on the cliff has been emphasised
and becomes the focal point in this print.
