Gaddo eira (Promising snow) - No print turns out how you'd planned, and this is definately the case with Gaddo Eira. One of my 'favourite' prints is a very early one, Syrthiaist dan dy hud - and the intention with Gaddo eira was to create something similar in mood.
However, it seems, that unbeknown to myself, I had other ideas!

Gaddo eira is perhaps visually the stronger print, because structurally, the original drawing was quite bold and angular - but for me, this makes it a bit too masculine and it lacks some of the lyrical, more (dare I say it) romantic qualities of the earlier print.
