Llwydnos, Rhaeadr Ogwen - The last Rhaeadr Ogwen print showed the falls in full flood, this time there was very little water flowing through the rocks. The challenge I set myself here was to capture the scene late in the evening, so tonally I had to convince myself to begin the print with a shade of grey-blue for the sky and shadows on the water which was much darker that normal and looked frighteningly dark when it was the only colour on the paper. As further colours were added, the first colour began to look much paler and by the time the last dark tone was printed, felt almost perfect.
