Y Graig (The Rock) - Trees, river and rocks compete for attention in this print - even the area behind the trees is full of visual interest. Only the rock, "Y Graig" which gives the print its title, gives the eye a chance to rest, and settle on its solid, grey bulk. I feel this is a bit of a 'learning' print. There are things about it which I would do differently a second time (and what challenge would there be left if all my prints were perfect to my eye?), yet there are parts that I look at and and feel a big sigh of relief and pleasure because they've turned out almost exactly as I'd hoped.
